What a fantastic musical journey it has been-

Always working, always recording, always making new music.

1978-1983- Nightwatch-Blues Rock

Florida/Canada/Los Angeles

We were a Trio and sometime quartet with singer. Consisting of leehoward, and my brothers: Steve Krall and Russ Krall. We played and toured from LA through Utah and Montana; to the Yukon, Banff, Calgary, Edmonton and the Northwest. Great Project.

1982-1984 - KGB ( Killer Garage Band)

PowerPunkFunkRock

Sacramento Valley/ Chico/ Bay Area based playing mostly covers of songs by Plimsouls, Talking Heads, INXS, Police, Elvis Costello and other new wave punchy rock songs of there day. We toured and worked 5 nights a week all up along the Sacramento Valley for 2 years- We bought an old bus- put beds and a lounge in it to travel with. It was a great musical bootcamp - it really got us experienced onstage getting more polished. Which lead us to our next project:

1984-1986 - Critical Town -

Power Pop

We started writing music by now, ditching most of the covers. Developing 3 sets of music- we played all over the valley working 2-3 nights a week, building a creative music scene around us. Our sound was influenced by the music of U2, Brian Eno, Talking Heads, Joy Division, and the jazz we were listening to: Mahavishnu Orchestra , Allman Brothers, Miles Davis, Weather Report. We recorded 2 albums, which later became a Box Set of our work- a 4 cd package., now out of print.

We became the house band at a beautiful wine bar in Danville playing every Friday and Saturday for three years! With that momentum, we added San Diego and L.A. to our yearly touring. Then based on the success of these shows - we expanded and established yearly tours from Texas /Arizona and New Mexico to  Northern California/Oregon/Washington and all the way to the Canadian Border.
